Applications:

Wollastonite as building ceramic material can reduce the burning temperature by 200℃ (from 1280℃ to 1080℃), and shorten the burning period from 58h to 24h. In glaze industry, wollastonite is used as raw material in glaze brick, which can realize low temperature and fast firing, and the oil saving can reach 30% in plain firing. And can improve the whiteness of the glaze, improve the flow performance, reduce the prickle of the product. Wollastonite can improve the thermal shock resistance of the body, and the solid state reaction produces anorthite (melting point 1550℃), which can realize low temperature and rapid sintering.
