CALCINED KAOLIN
INTRODUCTION

Compared with uncalcined kaolin, the bound water content of low-temperature calcined kaolin decreases, the content of silica and trialumina increases, the active point increases, the structure changes, the particle size is smaller and uniform, and the vulcanization characteristic curve of low-temperature calcined kaolin filled NR rubber is basically the same as that of uncalcined kaolin filled NR rubber, the Shore hardness is unchanged, and the tensile strength is improved.

APPLICATION
1.Coating: Calcined kaolin plays the role of filling the skeleton in the coating, which has the characteristics of high dispersion, chemical stability, corrosion resistance, fire resistance, scrub resistance, etc., which can improve the mechanical properties of the paint film, improve the coating covering power and weather resistance. In addition, it can also replace part of titanium dioxide, used in interior and exterior paint, high-grade paint, ink and marking paint, etc., directly reduce costs.
2.Plastics: Calcined kaolin can improve the strength, whiteness and electrical insulation of shed film, mulch film, cable, PVC pipe (plate) and other products. In the plastic film, it can also improve the scattering transmittance, block infrared rays, and reduce costs as a volume filler.
3.Paper making: The use of calcined kaolin can increase the void volume and loose thickness of the coating, smoothness, improve the opacity and elasticity of the paper, improve ink adsorption, gloss and reduce printing spots.
4.Pesticides and petrochemicals: Because the surface of calcined kaolin particles has micro-pores, it has great adsorbability and can be used in medicine and pesticides. Because of its neutral and high silicon content, it can also be used to make silicon fertilizer and feed additives. In refining, it can be used as a catalyst to improve the quality of oil products.
