Applications:

Adding proper amount of wollastonite (medium or low grade) into ceramic raw material can greatly reduce the firing temperature, shorten the firing time of products, realize low temperature and quick one-time firing, save a lot of fuel and obviously reduce the cost of products. 

Wollastonite products do not contain alkali metals, so it has good electrical insulation properties, and high impact strength and shape stability, which makes wollastonite in precision ceramics, craft ceramics industry has been applied. In glaze mud raw materials, wollastonite instead of white pigment, can increase the gloss of glaze, reduce the viscosity of glaze mud, greatly reduce the cost. 

Wollastonite in ceramic products, can prevent porcelain crack, crack, damage and glaze defects. Because wollastonite has linear thermal expansion property. 

Therefore, the degree of product deflection can be reduced. The addition of 1% wollastonite to the glaze reduces the thermal expansion enough to prevent the glaze from cracking when exposed to air.
