Use of Potassium feldspar:
、 Glass Flux: Feldspar is one of the main components of glass mixture. Feldspar has high Al2O3 content, low iron content, and is more fusible than ALUMINA, not only has low melting temperature and wide melting range, and is mainly used for improving the content of ALUMINA in glass ingredients, reducing the melting temperature in glass production and increasing the content of alkali. In addition, the process of melting feldspar into glass is relatively slow, and the crystallization energy is small, which can prevent crystals from being precipitated during the glass forming process and damage the product. Feldspars can also be used to adjust the viscosity of glass. Generally all kinds of glass mixtures use potassium feldspar or albite.
、 Ceramic body ingredients: Before firing, the feldspar can act as a barren raw material, reduce drying shrinkage and deformation of the body, improve drying performance and shorten drying time. can be used as a flux to reduce the sintering temperature during firing, promote the melting of quartz and KAOLIN, and mutual diffusion and penetration in the liquid phase to accelerate the formation of mullite. The feldspar glass body formed in the melting process is filled among the mullite grains of the blank body, so that the blank body is compacted and voids are reduced, thereby improving the mechanical strength and dielectric properties of the blank body. In addition, the formation of feldspar glass can improve the light transmittance of the body. The doping amount of feldspar ceramic body varies with different raw materials and different requirements of products.
、 Ceramic Glaze: The ceramic glaze is mainly composed of feldspar, quartz and clay, and the content of feldspar can reach 10% -35%. In the ceramic industry (blanks and glazes), potash feldspar is mainly used.
、 Enamel raw material: The feldspar and other mineral raw materials are mainly mixed into the phalanx. Feldspars are typically incorporated in an amount of 20 -30%.
、 Abrasive: Feldspar is commonly used as ceramic cement in the production of grinding wheel, and its content is 28% - 45%.
